I see a LOT of weddings. And I mean a. lot. 

And this wedding was the definition of magical.

Zach's dad made this beautiful bench, and everyone signed it instead of a guestbook. I told you it was magical! 

The Bride made all of her bridesmaids shoes to dance in. Adorable, right?

And to top it all off, she made the pinwheel bouquets!

 

I love when I get to be part of something super special. These pictures were part of a father's day gift - how sweet is that?! That's one lucky dad!

Sweet Allison celebrated her birthday, so naturally we had balloons! Happy birthday, Allison!

This sweet senior rocked every minute of her session. She was all smiles, all the time. 

There are some stories that just tug so deeply at your heart... this is one of them. Many prayers for Brian, Melissa, and family, but especially baby Luke.

These cuties stuck out taking photos in the rain! But it was soooo worth it!

After taking this super sweet picture we went on to take some top secret Christmas card photos... which I LOVE! And I can't wait to share with you :)

These kids kept me laughing the whole session. Plus, they were super brave - it was COLD! You'd never know, though! They were troopers!

Seniors and weddings may just be my favorite things to capture. I think because those photos mark such a special moment in time. This family is near and dear to me, and they have weddings and graduations galore coming up.... and I'm thrilled to be a part of it all!​

These Boys! How sweet are they! It was a joy to capture each one of them. They were full of energy and so much fun to get to know!

I was thrilled to capture this beautiful couple on their way to their senior homecoming. 

I couldn't believe the weather today! It was simply perfect for October. The sun gave way and gave us a gorgeous day for a gorgeous photo session with the Powell family! 

I love dance. I love pictures. So OBVIOUSLY I love dance pictures! These girls made my job super fun, too!

Oh, I just couldn't get enough of these two! Shelby brought her dog along for her senior pictures and I couldn't be more thrilled. Harry, the pup, was adorable, and Shelby is just stunning! Capturing moments like this make my heart smile.

This family is near and dear to my heart. It was an honor to photograph them and help preserve their family memories. The moment I took the pictures I just loved them.  In fact, I should be packing for an upcoming trip, but I just couldn't leave knowing these images were sitting on my computer untouched! I just love, love, love how they came out, don't you? 

Can you believe it's almost back to school time? ME EITHER! I'm not ready at all, but Miss Abbie is sure ready for 1st Grade!

It was an honor to photograph one of my senior clients, who just happens to be a talented gymnast, in the gym recently. She's soon headed to Iowa to join the Hawkeyes Gymnastics Team!

These boys were the sweetest ever! I just loved having the chance to photograph this wonderful family.

It's rare to see siblings love each other so much. These kids blew me away!

I just love when a client has an idea for a session and I get to help make that idea a reality! This week I headed to a local Christmas tree farm and was honored to take the most wonderful pictures! I can't wait for next year, I'm already planning on heading back for mini-sessions! Keep your eyes out for them in November of 2014!
